Then, I woke up in Texas. I was surrounded by dirt, and the sun was beating down on me. I was laying there, sweating, and confused. I looked over my shoulder to see a woman looking at me dead in the face. I stood up, looked around, and faced my reality. In hopes of finding my family, I started walking towards a town. The town didn’t look like the hospital bed where I last left off at. It was an unwelcoming place where I didn’t belong. I stood there, dazed and beyond confused. To my mercy, an officer approached me, and asked me for my name.
“Dylan Smart,” I responded. Then, he asked me what my address was, so I told him. Before I knew it, I was getting in his police car. My thoughts were mixed and everywhere.

After what seemed like a couple hours, we pulled up to a beautiful blue and white house. It looked familiar. Very familiar. Then, I saw a man step out in front of a house, but he wasn’t a random man, he was my father. Running up to him, I heard him say, “Dylan, is that you? You died four years ago.”
