"I Am From" by Kiara Supplee
I am from a small but big area called my mother’s womb,
From an embryo to delivery.
I am from the small houses but big items inside,
It can be loud and crazy,
Even look like a zoo or a circus.
I am from the flower called carnation.
And the garnet birthstone,
Its blood shot red and shiny.
I am from the food shoving family and the brown-haired creatures,
From Trey to Cameron and even Sheldan.
I am from the family of a that is always napping and constant laughing.
From being told to stick up for myself and being told to stop being lazy.
I’m from a Christian background,
So, I decide to go to church three times a week because why not?
I’m from women and babies born native American and Italian in me.
My house often smells like pasta and chicken foods.
From the time I was born to like maybe 8 I was spoiled by my brothers,
The second to oldest brother would do everything for me.
My family pictures are to be found in boxes in the closet or in pictures frames around the house.
I am from a farm land state and a bunch of animals,
I was born January 29 and I am Kiara,
I like taking photos of random things and binge-watching things on Netflix.
